Russian cellular retailer «Svyaznoy«, second largest after "Euroset", reported on plans to place its shares in London, following the example of its main competitor.

According to the head of the company Denis Liudkovsky, a possible listing is scheduled for 2012, but the final decision has not yet been made. Speaking about the listing plans, the owner «Svyaznoy» clarified that the company has not yet been put up for sale, but when it does, the price should be at least as high as the «Euroset«. In addition, it has been noted that London is the optimal site for IPO similar companies.

Retailer "Euroset« announced its intention to float shares in London, with the organizing banks estimating the company's value at $3.65 billion to $4.93 billion.
