About the book, how to make and invest money

Not all those who are good at making money are able to make their capital work for themselves in the future (the previous edition of this book was called that - "Your money has to work"). The author of this book, a leading personal finance management expert, gives a complete step-by-step overview of all the different ways and types of investing for the individual, from securities to precious metals and other instruments - in order to make the money work and bring income that corresponds to the risk level of the investor.

The book considers three types of balanced portfolios: conservative, moderate, and aggressive, as well as the entire process and technology of selecting instruments for these portfolios. Advantages and nuances of using Russian and foreign investment instruments are described in detail and in an accessible way.

This is one of the first books of this level on the Russian market. It is built on real examples from the author's own experience and his experience of working with clients on private investment and management of personal finances. The technology of selecting objects for investment is described very accessibly, and real life situations of quite specific people served as examples.

Who is this book for

For businessmen and entrepreneurs. For financial and investment consultants. For a wide range of private investors.

From the author

Money must always work. It does work, one way or another.

That money you keep in a bank account, in securities or funds, in real estate, in precious metals - that money works forever.

Money you keep hidden under the baseboard or in a glass jar can also work - it depends on what purpose you put it under the baseboard (in the jar) and in what currency.

Sometimes they work very well (they grow by themselves, increasing your capital), sometimes they work very poorly (your capital decreases). But if you manage your money consciously and make sure that your money works quite satisfactorily, your capital will always grow in the long run. This book will talk about what it means to manage your money consciously.

I have tried to make a brief monitoring of major investment instruments and use practical examples to show what a balanced portfolio is and approximately what it should be for investors with different attitudes to risk.

In addition to talking about investment instruments, portfolios, risks, and investment strategies, I showed the examples of three characters, Alexander, Ulyana, and Konstantin, how they went about forming their investment portfolios. I thought it would be more illustrative for readers. And perhaps you will use our heroes' portfolios in your investment practice.
