Affordable Housing Program in Australian

Every month, whole streets in New South Wales see families losing their homes-and thousands more facing the problem of where to scrape together the money to keep a roof over their heads.

State figures released showed that in one month, 80 homes were repossessed by banks for nonpayment of mortgages, and a third of the population in the suburbs, making ends meet to pay the rent.
The crisis in the rental housing market has spread throughout New South Wales, where up to 50 percent of families, because of spending on rent, cannot afford basic necessities.
According to the latest data, the number of people whose homes will be taken away from them by banks this year will increase by 22.5%. Since the beginning of the year, the Supreme Court has issued 2,466 possession orders and overturned 825.
Experts believe this is just the tip of the iceberg; many rushed to sell their homes before they were repossessed.
A new program launched in Australia called "Affordable Housing" has hit New South Wales, Sydney, Wyong, the central north coast area, Hunter and the north coast, where one in five families, most of their income is spent on rent or mortgages. In Auburn, Fairfield, Canterbury, Strathfield, Bankstone, Liverpool an average of 28% of the population suffers from "Affordable Housing".
