Macroeconomic indicators describe the U.S. national economy as a single but constantly changing structure. Reports recording the dynamics of economic processes are compiled by government departments, research institutes and specialized associations and are published almost daily, at predetermined times, in strict accordance with the schedule. These reports show changes in economic conditions over the period from a week to a quarter, on the basis of which the government chooses various options to influence the process of economic development of the country.
