Trading on vacation or how to get back in stock market shape after the summer
Summer is coming to an end, and with it someone's vacation is coming to an end, and someone is just about to enjoy the velvet season. So let's talk about How to do trading while on vacationand how to get back in shape if you didn't go near the trading terminal on vacation.
Tips for traders on vacation
For me personally, active operations during vacations are taboo. I'm at the monitor all year long, and I have to unplug from it sometimes to keep my brain from boiling over. In addition, I am uncomfortable with speculation, because my vacation is usually associated with active movements and frequent relocations. Nevertheless, I have time to make investment purchases: such deals are prepared in advance, and while on vacation there are a couple of buttons to push in order to implement them. But this is my case, trade is my profession.
If vacation is the only time for you to try a new strategy, to stay with the trading terminal one-on-one without distractions, then let me give you some advice:
- Do not make speculative deals if you have a busy excursion program or your vacation is associated with extreme sports. Only engage in speculation during a measured beach vacation, of course, if the sea and the sun don't break your spirits.
- Get your family's agreement to devote a couple of hours a day to trading and be clear about the agreed upon limits.
- Don't try to make all the money in the world during your vacation; think of vacation trading as a kind of training. After spending one day on vacation as a speculator, you will gain a tremendous amount of experience, which an investor can walk toward for months.
- Don't trade in a "wah-bank. It's a matter of psychology, many people think that summer and mid-autumn are such a strange period for trading, accompanied by increased volatility and lower volumes. In reality it is not, but a preconceived notion about this period can play a cruel trick on you, it is better to secure a small position size.
As you can imagine, with a little bit of upgrading, my tips will help you during the vacation season around New Year's or May holidays.
Returning the trade form after vacation
What to do in case the sweet time of vacation is over and it's time to go back to the exchange terminal that was abandoned?
Remember, I have repeatedly said that as we are in the home, so we are in the market. It's no secret that 90% people gain extra pounds during vacations and then struggle with them almost until the next beach season. That's how it is in trading, after a break it is difficult to return to a fighting form, especially now, when the market is particularly mobile because of the confrontation between Russia and the world. So we do not rush into a maelstrom, but take measures to ensure that we do not have to pay for a fun vacation with a trading account.
- Carefully review the changes in the charts during our absence. Even if you have glimpsed the news and quotes while on vacation, you still need to do so. We note for ourselves not only strategic things, but also extreme price fluctuations, atypical price behavior, instructive moments.
- Before you start trading, remember, you should clearly see all the current trends and the last one finished. This is the key to your safety, no matter which time frame you didn't trade.
- You don't have to make thousands of trades to get back into stock form. Engage in self-development! For example, attend courses you've been meaning to take for a long time.
- Immerse yourself in the exchange environment - communicate with traders on specialized exchange resources, read company news, make an analysis of your old stock diary.
I could probably give a dozen more tips on how to do and not to do trading while on vacation, on how to get back into trading shape faster after a vacation, but I think it is sacrilege to burden the readers during the last warm days.

This is interesting information, thanks to the author. I want to say about me, that when I am on vacation I cannot switch off, I always have charts in front of me, so when I was on vacation I was also trading, in addition at the moment I am trading on investor's money, so I cannot afford to be idle. I have been trading through Alexander Herko for about 5 months, the conditions are great and fair. Went to the sea 3 weeks ago, but, my work is always with me)
