Moody's proposes that the U.S. eliminate its debt limit

The U.S. has received an offer from an international Moody's on lifting the sovereign debt limit. this would allow the country to avoid uncertainty among investors who fear that the U.S. will be unable to meet its obligations and will declare a technical default if the government debt limit will not be increased until August 2.

Earlier Moody's put the U.S. credit rating on review, motivated by the likelihood that the country's authorities will not reach a consensus on a new level of public debt. For the same reason, the outlook on the U.S. rating was declared "negative" by S&P and Fitch Ratings.

At this time U.S. debt ceiling is 14.28 trillion. dollars. So far, Democrats and Republicans can't find a compromise on raising that bar.
