Stochastic Crossing with FXDD Strategy

Stochastic Crossing with FXDD Strategy is designed for trend-following trading and uses Stochastic, a channel of moving averages and indicator FXDD.

The basic principle of the Stochastic Crossing with FXDD Strategy is to find the entry point of the trend with the help of Stochastic.

Input parameters

  • Currency pairs: GBP/USD, GBP/JPY, AUD/USD, EUR/USD, USD/CAD, EUR/NZD, USD/CHF, NZD/USD, USD/JPY
  • Timeframe: M5 and higher
  • Bidding time: any
  • Risk management: after calculating the stop-loss, choose this lot sizeto risk no more than 2-5% of the deposit per trade.

  • Stochastic Crossing (30, 10, 10);
  • Fast Trend indicator;
  • Simple moving average (10, high);
  • simple moving average (10, low).

Setting up the price chart

  • Unpack the archive
  • Copy the template into the templates folder
  • Copy the indicators to the folder MQL4 -> indicators
  • Restarting the terminal
  • Open the chart of the desired currency pair
  • Set a template named Stochastic crossing FXDD

Setting Stop Loss and Take Profit Orders

  • Stop Loss Order is set above/below the previous local maximum/minimum;
