Trend Booster System trading strategy
Trend Booster System trading strategy is based on the use of an arrow indicator, the signals of which undergo a two-stage filtering. The system is set up in such a way that the trading signals come as close as possible to the beginning of the trend.
Input parameters
- Currency pairs: any
- Timeframe: M15 and older
- Bidding time: any
- Risk management: after calculating the stop-loss, choose this lot sizeto risk no more than 2-5% of the deposit per transaction
Used indicators
- Trend arrow signal
- Trend Envelopes (Slow, 34)
- FX Bin alert
Setting up the price chart
- Unpack the archive
- Copy the template into the templates folder
- Copy the indicators to the folder MQL4 -> indicators
- Restarting the terminal
- Open the chart of the desired currency pair
- Install a template named Trend Booster System
The schedule should look like this:
Signals indicating the opening of a long position
- a blue arrow upwards is formed;
- the price is above the blue line of the Trend Envelopes indicator;
- The trade opens when the color of the line indicator FX Bin alert changes from yellow to green.
Signals indicating the opening of a short trade
- a red arrow down was formed;
- the price is below the yellow line of the Trend Envelopes indicator;
- The trade opens when the color of the line indicator FX Bin alert changes from green to yellow.
Setting Stop Loss and Take Profit Orders
- stop loss is set above/below the previous maximum/minimum;
- Take Profit is set at a minimum ratio of 1:1 to stop-loss or near the resistance or support line of the current trend.
