Setting up the price chart
- Unpack the archive
- Copy the template into the templates folder
- Copy the indicators to the folder MQL4 -> indicators
- Restarting the terminal
- Open the chart of the desired currency pair
- Install a template named Parabolic Sar with Channel
The schedule should look like this:
Signals indicating the opening of a long position
- prerequisite: the price channel is directed upwards;
- the price rebounded from one of the lower channel lines;
- a green up arrow appears;
- a green bar is formed on the oscillator.
Signals indicating the opening of a short trade
- prerequisite: the price channel is directed downward;
- the price rebounded from one of the upper channel lines;
- a red down arrow appeared;
- a red bar is formed on the oscillator.
Setting Stop Loss and Take Profit Orders
- stop loss is set above or below the previous local maximum or minimum;
- Take Profit is set at the midline of the channel or at its opposite border.
Transactions can be opened when the arrow appears in the corresponding direction when the price is above the midline of the channel for sales and below the midline of the channel for purchases. In this case, the number of transactions will increase, but the number of losing transactions will also grow.
