Historically, the Belgium Stock Market (BEL20) reached an all time high of 4759.01 in May of 2007. The BEL20 is the benchmark stock market index of Euronext Brussels. It tracks the performance of 20 most capitalized and liquid stocks traded in Belgium. The BEL20 is a modified capitalization-weighted index. The index has a base value of EUR 1000 as of January 1, 1991.
