Strategy for ADX and MACD indicators
Рymarket: ;
Timeframe: М15;
Currency pair: EUR\USD;
Trading Indicators: ADX(14), MACD(5,25,9), MA(9);
Protective orders: StopLoss and TakeProfit.
In addition to its simplicity, I liked the trading strategy because it uses readings as indications of trading direction MACD indicator. The price chart is not used at all. We can remove the price chart altogether and trade only on the indicator readings. The trading strategy is used for the 15-minute price chart, but you can also use it on other ranges, for this you only need to select the appropriate range of stop-loss and take-profit.
The first thing to do is to configure ADX. To configure, we paint the signal lines DI- DI+ in the background color in order not to interfere. Next, you need to apply the Moving Average indicator (9) to ADX (to do this, just drag the moving average to the window of the corresponding ADX chart). When the ADX is set up, you can start trading.
Rules trading strategy
Crossing the ADX indicator with the MA from the bottom up give a signal to enter the market. As soon as received signal, looking at the MACD:
- If the MACD is positive, we buy, set a stop loss of 30 pips and take profit of 60 pips;
- If the value is negative, then sell the same stop loss and take profit.
When the next signal is received:
- if he is the same as the previous one, it is possible to enter the market with an additional order, and to move the StopLoss to breakeven, and TakeProfit set according to an additional warrant;
- if the signal does not matchThe signal is not a signal, then we close the previous order and open a new one in the direction of the signal.
