PFE Scalping High Frequency trading strategy for scalping and daytrading

Trading strategy PFE Scalping High Frequency is based on the author's indicators and can be used for scalping and intraday trading in the direction of the current trend, defined by a fan moving averages.

Input parameters

  • Currency pairs: EUR/USD, GBP/USD, AUD/USD, USD/CHF, AUD/JPY, USD/CAD.
  • Timeframe: M5, M
  • Bidding time: London, New York.
  • Risk Management: After calculating the stop-loss, choose such a volume of the lot that the risk was no more than 2-5% of the deposit per trade.

  • EMA (633, close);
  • EMA (200, close);
  • Exponential moving average period 36, close;
  • Exponential moving average period 12, close;
  • PFE (10, 5, 10,10);
  • Pivot Points;
  • 00jPFE_v100
  • stoch+rsi_v2

Installing indicators and strategy template

  • Unpack the archive with templates and indicators.
  • Copy the indicators to the folder MQL4 -> indicators.
  • Copy the templates into the templates folder.
  • Restart the terminal.
  • Open the chart of the desired currency pair.
  • Set the template with the name PFE Scalping High Frequency.

Signals indicating the opening of a long position (buying)

  • A proper fan is formed upwards:

The moving average with a period of 200 is higher than the moving average with a period of 633;
The moving average with a period of 36 is higher than the moving average with a period of 200;
The moving average with a period of 12 is higher than the moving average with a period of 36.

  • The indicator 00jPFE_v100 crosses the zero level from bottom to top.
  • Re-entry can be made on a bounce of price from a 200 or 633 moving average, but after the 12 period moving average crosses the 36 period moving average from the bottom up.
  • Stop Loss is placed 7 points below the moving average with a period of 36.

Signals indicating the opening of a short position (sale)

  • A proper downward fan is formed:

The moving average with a period of 200 is lower than the moving average with a period of 633;
The moving average with a period of 36 is lower than the moving average with a period of 200;
The moving average with a period of 12 is lower than the moving average with a period of 36.

  • The indicator 00jPFE_v100 crosses the zero level from top to bottom.
  • Re-entry can be made on a bounce from a 200 or 633 moving average, but only after the 12-period moving average crosses the 36-period moving average downwards.
  • The stop loss is placed 7 points above the moving average with a period of 36.

  • Fixed Take Profitcalculated based on the volatility of a particular currency pair and the working timeframe. An example for TF M5: EUR/USD - 7 pips, AUD/USD - 7 pips, GBP/USD - 10 pips.

According to the experts of fortrader.org, the trading strategy PFE Scalping High Frequency, despite its name, is more suitable for intraday trading. Using it for scalping during the American session, when there is increased volatility, is unlikely to be positive, so scalping on this strategy is better during the Pacific trading session.
