Trend Trading Strategy Channel Buy Sell is based on moving average envelopes and Magic Grail indicator.
Input parameters
- Currency pairs: any.
- Timeframe: M15 and higher.
- Bidding time: London, New York.
- Risk Management: After calculating the stop loss, choose this lot sizeto risk no more than 2-5% of the deposit per trade.
Used indicators
- EMA (7, close, shift -1);
- EMA (6, open, shift -1);
- Magic grail 1.6 (main period 10, ADX 7);
- Envelopes ma (period 233, ma shift 3, deviation 1.44).
- Setting up the price chart
- Unpack the archive.
- Copy the template into the templates folder.
- Copy the indicators to the folder MQL4 -> indicators.
- Restart the terminal.
- Open the chart of the desired currency pair.
- Set up a template named Channel Buy Sell.
The schedule should look like this:
Signals indicating the opening of a long position (buying)
- The price is above the midline of the envelopes.
- White moving average is above the yellow one.
- The Magic Grail indicator shows a green upward arrow.
- A stop loss is placed just below the nearest local minimum.
Signals indicating the opening of a short position (sale)
- The price is below the midline of the envelopes.
- The white moving average is below the yellow moving average.
- The Magic Grail indicator shows a red down arrow.
- Stop Loss is set just above the nearest local maximum.
The deal is closed at a fixed Take Profit (preferred option) or when an arrow appears in the opposite direction.
