The producer's net profit increased 17.8 times at once and reached 2.739 billion rubles (154 million rubles in the previous half of the year).
The state, which subsidized the interest on investment loans, played an important role here.
Thanks to a comprehensive Efficiency Improvement Program borrowed from its shareholder Daimler AG, the Group was able to break even in 2012, reaching a profit margin of 7.5% of revenue.

At the beginning of this year, OJSC KAMAZ has repaid loans of 5.8 billion rubles, reducing the level of financial debt to 17.2 billion rubles (net debt is 9.7 billion rubles). Loans were repaid to Sberbank, Ak Bars Bank and VTB. The company fully repaid the loans taken under the state guarantees.
