TMT 5 min Scalping trading strategy for intraday trading

High Frequency Trend Trading Strategy TMT 5 min Scalping is based on the use of a set of trend indicators and is best suited for intraday trading.

Input parameters

• Currency pairs: basic
• Timeframe: M5
• Bidding time: London, New York
• Risk Management: After calculating the stop loss, choose this lot sizeto risk no more than 2-5% of the deposit per transaction

Used indicators

• Daily Candle;
• Trend Arrows;
• Pivot points levels;
• De Mark Trend line Trader;
• Step MA default setting;
• Raush trend (period 17, overbought level 70, oversold level 30).

Setting up the price chart

1. Unpack the archive.
2. Copy the template into the templates folder.
3. Copy the indicators to the folder MQL4 -> indicators.
4. Restart the terminal.
5. Open the chart of the desired currency pair.
6. Install a template named TMT 5min scalpingtem.

The schedule should look like this:

Signals indicating the opening of a long position (buying)

1. Текущая дневная свеча — зеленая.
2. An up arrow appeared.
3. The StepMa indicator (on the price chart) is green.
4. A green bar appeared on the Raush trend indicator.
5. Optional prerequisite: the price broke the sloping trend line from the bottom to the top.
6. Stop Loss is set 3 points below the StepMa indicator.

Signals indicating the opening of a short position (sale)

1. Текущая дневная свеча — красная.
2. A down arrow appeared.
3. The StepMa indicator (on the price chart) is red.
4. A red bar appeared on the Raush trend indicator.
5. Optional prerequisite: price broke the sloping trend line from top to bottom.
6. Stop loss is placed 3 pips above the StepMa indicator.

Fixed take profit sizes

• EUR/USD: 10 pips
• AUD/USD, USD/CHF: 9 pips
• GPP/USD: 12 pips

The risk/return ratio ranges from 1:0.8 to 1:25.
