"Moderate" NonHeiken strategy: 10 minutes a day to make a decision

The "Moderate" strategy owes its name to the modernization, or rather simplification, of the NonHeiken trading strategy. It is suitable for traders who cannot afford to spend much time at the trading terminal. To make a decision to enter the market, it is enough to take 5-10 minutes a day to analyze the chart.

Conditions for entering a long position

  • Heiken Ashi indicator in blue
  • The NonLagDot indicator has turned blue on the same candle
  • The order in which the indicators are colored blue does not matter. It is important that it is the first candle on which both indicators are colored blue.
  • Above the High level of this candle set an order BuyStop.
  • Under the Low level of this candle we set StopLoss
  • TakeProfit is set in ratio to StopLoss as 1:1 or 2:1.

Conditions for entering a short position

  • Heiken Ashi indicator in red
  • The NonLagDot indicator turned red on the same candle
  • The order in which the indicators are colored red does not matter. It is important that it is the first candle on which both indicators are colored blue.
  • Below the Low level of this candle set a SellStop order.
  • Above the High level of this candle we set StopLoss
  • TakeProfit is set in ratio to StopLoss as 1:1 or 2:1.

Additions to the Moderate strategy

  • The pending order should be deleted if it is not triggered later than the fourth candle
  • Re-installation of the order in the same direction is possible after changing the color of one of the indicators to the opposite one and returning to the previous color
  • You should not open trades with an open order already in place
  • It is worth transferring the position to Breakeven when the next candle is in the positive zone in such a way that no part of it touches the entry point
  • In making further decisions, the candle that closed the trade on the stop is not taken into account.

According to ForTrader.org experts, the "Moderate" strategy is worth testing TakeProfit levels for optimal results.
