iCorrelationTable information indicator for correlation trading
iCorrelationTable information indicator gives the trader all the data necessary for trading on correlations currency pairs.
The data is located in the basement window, has a compact view and does not clutter the price chart.
Indicator parameters
- CorPeriod - correlation period
- SymbolsListVariant - 1 - all symbols from Market Watch window, 2 - from file. The list is retrieved at the start of the indicator, if the set of symbols in the market overview or in the file must be restarted
- FileName - The name of the file with the list of symbols. Used when SymbolsListVariant=2. The file must be located in the experts/files directory. There is one symbol per line in the file. An example of the file is attached (Symbols.txt)
- ColorOf - Color of disabled items in the lists of timeframes and symbols
- ColorOn - Color of the included items in the lists of timeframes and symbols
- ColorCaption - Color of the table headers
- ColorValues - Color of the table values
- ColorMainLevels - Color of levels 0, 1, -1, correlation graph
- ColorLevels - Color of other correlation chart levels
- ColorLevels_2 - Color of levels 0.5, -0.5, correlation graph
- ColorLevels_3 - Color of levels 0.7, -0.7, correlation graph
- ColorDot - Color of the point on the correlation graph
- Shift - The bar from which the calculation starts
- Price: 0-Close, 1-Open, 2-High, 3-Low, 4-Median, 5-Typical, 6-Weighted
- Level - Level value
- ColorValuesMax - The color of the table values above Level
- ColorValuesMin - Color of table values below -Level
- ChartPos - Chart position: 1 - right, 2 - bottom
Indicator control
- To switch the timeframe, you must move the inscription with the desired timeframe.
- To make a list for a table, you have to shift the gray superscripts from the general list of symbols, and to remove symbols from the table, you have to shift the colored symbols from the general list of symbols.
- If you move the caption with the symbol in the table header (the top row of the table), the symbol's sign will change.
- If you move the inscription with the symbol in the left column of the table, you will see a graph of the correlation of this symbol with the rest of the table symbols.
- If you shift the value inscription in the table, the correlation indicator of these symbols with each other will be displayed.
- The correlation period can be changed without the indicator properties window - change the value in the inscription next to (to the right of) the "CorPeriod" inscription - change the "Text" property of the graphical object.
- After displacement of inscriptions the changes occur with the arrival of a new tick, or you can do the update manually - right-click on the chart - Update. You can also attach the script sWinRefresh (attached), the update will happen without the arrival of ticks (for experiments at the weekend).
