The experiment I started a month ago (testing the Expert Advisor portfolio on a demo account) has brought the first results, namely: the results of experts' work online and, most importantly, the first profit, even though it is virtual. There were a few unfortunate mistakes on my part. When registering a demo account the automatically generated password was not saved. Subsequently, when I transferred the account to another computer, access to the "accumulated treasures" became impossible. At that time the balance grew by 700 dollars, and there was an open position on GBPJPY, which gave floating profit of about 200 dollars. The only solution was to switch to a new account 2046102. To maintain the purity of the experiment, the initial balance of the new account is set equal to the funds (Equity) of the old one...

With the release of the first builds of the Meta Trader 5 terminal two more types of orders were added to the standard list of trade orders - BuyStopLimit and SellStopLimit. BuyStopLimit is an order to set a Buy Limit order when the price reaches a value higher than the current Ask price. SellStopLimit is an order to set a Sell Limit order when the price reaches the value, which is lower than the current Bid price. For the last two months MQL programmers have been so obsessed with the news of the release of the new MT5 terminal that most of them have forgotten about such a reality as MT4 and, consequently, MQL4. Since over the last few months I have not received any interesting research proposals on strategies, I decided to share with the readers my own little experience in the field of hedging trading.
