Mobile Websites and Small Businesses

       

According to a recent study, about 20 percent of Internet traffic in the U.S. today comes from mobile devices, but only 26 percent of small businesses have mobile sites.

Mobile presence is not a priority for many small businesses. But experts believe a mobile strategy is important for all businesses, not just the well-known social media and technology companies that dominate the global mobile space. Of the 26 percent of small businesses that have mobile sites, 84 percent reported that the number of customers who own smartphones has increased.
Gartner Research Group experts believe that in 2015, 50 percent of web sales will be made through social and mobile web applications.
