Moody's has downgraded Ireland again
Analysts of the international Moody's downgraded Ireland's government bond rating (in foreign and local currency) by 5 steps at once: from Aa2 to Baa1. At the same time, the outlook remains negative.
The reason for the downgrade is the significant financial assistance that had to be applied for Ireland к EU and the ECB. At the end of November, a plan was approved to provide 85 billion euros at 5.8% per annum to restore the financial system. The source of support will be the European anti-crisis fund (440 billion euros) and the IMF.
Moody's This is the second time Ireland has been downgraded in the last two months.
