The manager told him that the price drop was caused by economic data released in the US, but the Belgian trader yelled even louder and asked why he had not been informed about the release of the data. While the trader was on the phone with his manager, gold gave back losses amid other economic data that brought trading back into the green. The manager informed the trader that his trade was quite successful. The trader was so embarrassed that he began mumbling apologies for his terrible behavior. The next day he withdrew all of his profits.

- What would you advise newcomers to the exchange?

- Don't be afraid of the markets. Remember that you are in control of your investment. Only you, not the broker, decide how much to invest in trading.
