As we know, in the market of trading platforms there are a huge number of different solutions that can perfectly fit only one market: Forex, stock market, market derivatives (futures and options). Providing simultaneous trading access to all markets is a difficult task for companies and sometimes even expensive for the trader himself. Those solutions that do provide access to various markets are also not without drawbacks, which can manifest themselves not only in a significant consumption of PC system resources, but also in the elementary lack of flexible interface settings for various tasks and requirements of the speculator.
The PTMC trading terminal is not just different from most popular terminals, it's a completely different level. PTMC is a multifunctional electronic trading platform, which was created especially for active and demanding traders. PTMC allows you to analyze and trade all types of instruments: Forex, CFDs, futures, options, stocks and ETFs (Exchange Traded Fund).
PTMC as a project was developed by PFSOFT, which is a team of highly qualified specialists, united by the main idea - to bring software for financial markets to a qualitatively new level. Register an account and start a client in 3 steps
In order to start working in the PTMC terminal, first of all you need to download the platform from the official site of the developer (http://protrader.org). You can choose between a 32-bit and a 64-bit version of the terminal, depending on the type of your system. The last available version will be automatically installed on your computer.
The next important step is to register a demo or real account, which can be opened through the websites of our partner brokers (http://protrader.org/brokers): FXCM, LMAX Exchange, OANDA. In order to try all available functionality of the platform, you need to register a demo account to our internal server - Protrader Demo - in the "Downloads" section or in the "Brokers" section.
Once you have received your username and password in your email, you can start using PTMC. A login and password window will appear:
It is necessary to enter the received data into the appropriate fields and select the connection to the desired broker in advance. If the desired broker is not in the list, you can add it in the connection settings: Add new - Vendor - Account type.
About the platform and interface
We advise to start your work with Protrader Multi-Connect trading platform by setting the interface language. At the top of the screen choose View → Language → Russian. The program supports professional translation into 12 languages and two interface styles (dark and light).
The PTMC terminal contains a large number of features that traders need:
- Advanced Watchlist - displays information about the instruments necessary for the trader. It is possible to select the necessary information and add alerts.
- Panel linking - allows you to change tools on several charts and other panels at the same time.
- Flexible customization display open positions and pending orders on charts and in tables.
- Ability to trade from charts using the mouse and the quick order entry panel.
- General settings are used to change the general properties of the trading terminal individually for each user. To open the settings panel, go to "Environment" → "General settings" menu.
- Ability to customize keyboard shortcuts to maximize work efficiency and minimize time spent in a situation where you need to make quick decisions.
- More than 40 preset technical indicators.
- A wide range of different types of charts, drawing tools, as well as a flexible timeframe switch that allows you to create non-standard time intervals.
- When you connect PTMC to stockbrokers, you can use Level II data to work with scalper and tumbler panels (Depth of Market), as well as to work with the functionality of volumetric analysis.
- After the first launch of the terminal, workspace is loaded by default, you can create multiple workspaces based on your personal needs and desires if you wish.
Additional useful features of the PTMC platform
One of the features of this platform, is a full customization of the terminal, tools and all functionality. As an example, let's consider setting the timeframe switch. RTMS provides both the use of predefined time scale standards (1m, 5m, 15m, 1h, 4h, 1d), and the ability to apply individual settings not only by time, but also by chart type (candlestick, tick, Renco, cages of tic-tac-toe, etc.). It is also possible to select the period of data display for each instrument. This function is very convenient for analyzing certain periods of history, testing trading strategies, complex of instruments and indicators. All this makes it possible to optimize the platform to your liking as much as possible.

Programming in PTMC
One of the PTMC tools I would like to draw your attention to is AlgoStudio. This is a development environment for algo-traders that supports C# programming language. Thanks to this software environment traders can create or upload their own indicators, strategies, scripts, perform back-testing and optimization of trading strategies.
You can launch this panel through Toolbox → AlgoStudio.
