Impressive seafood exports from Vietnam

According to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Producers and Exporters (VASEP), the country has earned $6 billion this year from seafood exports.

Seafood production in Vietnam reached 5.2 million tons, up 1.4 percent from last year. Earlier, VASEP unveiled an ambitious plan to make the country one of the largest seafood suppliers in the world, and bring exports to $10 billion in 2020.
Despite the good results for the year, refiners are currently facing a shortage of raw materials. This year alone, refiners bought half a billion dollars worth of raw materials abroad.
