In the New Year issue of ForTrader.org we decided to review a trading robot that has been asking to be featured in our magazine for a long time, but for some reason we avoided it - Cash Hammer. It is high time to rectify the situation, so let us begin. Let's look at version v3.01MM.
So we're faced with another intraday advisor with martingale, working on EURUSD and M5. Note that MM is not used as the main system, but to minimize floating losses. It uses candlestick analysis to open trades, so don't expect a grid of orders and other dabbling common for scalpers with MM.
It is also interesting that the Expert Advisor opens buy and sell deals independently of each other, focusing on the current trend. If the trend changes, it will change the direction of the open positions, and will close the remaining ones to breakeven, using the latest Smart YTG system. It should be noted that the authorship of Smart YTG also belongs to the creators of Cash Hammer, but the idea was so interesting that it was immediately picked up by other developers. This system is based on the work with pending orders.
Another advantage of the advisor, which is noted by market participants, is quite easy passage through sharp price movements. Often a rapid change of direction leads to the loss of the deposit for many robots, as the author of Cash Hammer assures, it will come out of the problems with honor. I do not want to insult the efforts of Yury, the Expert Advisor's author, but his robot accumulates significant losses and, even with all its effort, is drawn down. This leads us to the conclusion that trading robots should be above the average reserve and should not rely on a miracle system.

As for Cash Hammer, we will use the standard parameters, replacing only the value of the initial lot with 0.1 for a deposit of 10 000$. All our tests of the robot with a slightly higher risk ended in a rapid or not so rapid failure.

Let's start with the general testing of the robot for 2013. ForTrader.org experts have paid attention to the quite confident test of Cash Hammer on real and demo accounts available on the web. The smooth upward crawling balance line seems to suggest that the Expert Advisor can tolerate significant fluctuations of the market mood. Let's see what the test shows.

Not every deposit and trader can withstand such a strain, which the robot showed twice in the second half of the year. This is exactly the moments we mentioned above - Cash Hammer accumulates losses and quite confidently. And it can be fatal for your deposit.
