Trading strategy for binary options and scalping TMA Crossing
TMA Crossing trading strategy - This is a simple but very profitable strategy for binary options. In addition, the strategy can be used for scalping.
The strategy is based on the use of the TMA and moving average crossover. For scalping additionally, a channel of two MAs is used.
Input parameters
- Currency pairs: any
- Timeframe: M1 and M5 for binary options (expiration time - 3 candles), M5 for scalping
- Trading times: London, New York
- Risk management: choose such a volume of option (lot), so that the risk was not more than 2-5% of the deposit on one transaction
Used indicators
- Simple moving average (20, high)
- Simple moving average (20, low)
- Simple moving average (20, close)
- Pivot points levels
- TMA ML Col sline
Setting indicators and system template
- Unpack the archive with templates and indicators
- Copy the indicators to the folder MQL4 -> indicators
- Copy the templates into the templates folder
- Restarting the terminal
- Open the chart of the desired currency pair
- Install a template named TMA Crossing
The schedule should look like this:
Signals indicating the purchase of a Call option
- TMA ML indicator Col sline crossed from bottom to top blue moving average.
Signals indicating the opening of a long position
- TMA ML Col sline has crossed the blue moving average and the upper limit of the channel of two MA.
Signals indicating the purchase of a Put option
- TMA ML Col sline crossed the blue moving average from top to bottom.
Signals indicating the opening of a short position
- TMA ML Col sline has crossed the blue moving average and the lower boundary of the channel of two MAs from the top down.
Setting a Stop Loss and Take Profit Order when Scalping
- stop loss is set at a distance of 5-8 points from the lower (for buying) or upper (for selling) border of the channel;
- Take Profit is set at 10-15 pips or around the pivot level.
