Trade indicator Calc: a graphical calculator for calculating orders
Calc trading indicator is a graphical calculator, which is designed to calculate the parameters of open orders.
When placed on a chart, the Calc indicator draws three horizontal lines, which represent themselves:
- the opening level of the deal;
- level stop loss;
- level Take Profit.
The indicator parameters set the lot size for the deal, as well as the commission for futures and CFD, if the deal is calculated on these instruments.
Once the stop-loss and take-profit lines have been set in the right positions, the Calc indicator will automatically display in the upper left corner of the chart:
- the size in dollars of the profit for profit;
- the size of the loss for a stop loss;
- the size of the supporting margin for the exposed number of lots.
In addition, another line will appear on the chart, showing the level of stopout.
To calculate new values, it will be enough to drag the lines on the chart.
Recommendations for using the Calc indicator
- The values are updated on each new tick, so on low-liquid instruments or in the breaks between sessions it is necessary to periodically update the chart to get new values.
- to be able to see where which line is (line description) in the properties of the graph, it is necessary to check the "Show object descriptions" checkbox.
- The lines exhibited by the indicator are usual graphical objects - their color, thickness and hatch type can be changed by selecting the corresponding line with a double click.
Calc trading indicator - is a simple but very effective tool for trade planning and compliance rules of mani gmentwithout which stable profitable trading on the foreign exchange market is impossible.
