This indicator is based on a similar idea, but a mathematical concept of a wavelet is used as a function for smoothing. The function used for smoothing is sinc(x) = sin(pi*x) / (pi*x). The author slightly modernized the function by adding an additional multiplier: wave(x,Q) = sinc(x)*(1 + Q*x^2) / (1 + x^2).

ForTrader.org comments: sinc MA indicator refers to the moving averages, which means that with all the advantages it has also received the disadvantages of this type, the most important of which is redrawing.
