"Gazprom ranks 15th among the world's most expensive companies

The British newspaper Financial Times has compiled its annual Global 500in which “Gazprom“ ranked 15th among the world's most expensive companies. Last year the Russian company reached only 33rd place. The FT estimates the market value of “Gazprom“ at 190.829 billion. dollars?.

A total of 11 Russian companies are ranked, including Gazprom Neft (386th), Severstal (479th), Rosneft (56th), Sberbank (73rd), LUKOIL (118th), and NorNickel (154th). MTS and Vimpelcom dropped out of the list.

The first position in the ranking was taken by ExxonMobil, the U.S. oil company. The top three were also the Chinese state oil and gas company Petrochina (second place) and Apple (third place).
